But now? Now, I love that the butterflies love the purple wildflowers that these start out being. They turn in to flat green shapes and then eventually dry up. They will naturally shed the two outer layers and leave behind the "coin" looking dried flowers. They look beautiful in a vase or dried arrangement!
So this year a whole crop of these came up in the creeping myrtle in the front yard....and I left them. The dry Summer made them change sooner, but I cut about half of them and have been peeling off the outer layers a few at a time. I have saved all the seeds. I am going to take most of them up to camp to scatter along the woods on the way into camp. Maybe next year I'll see my granny's Money Plants grow miles from home.....
PS - Anyone want some seeds??????

The three siblings trying to get a pic with Annie.....yeah, that didn't work out so well!
Here is a fairly good shot of the three of them. I think you can def tell they are related! Stewie had a bad reaction to his shots that morning and nearly didn't make the party. We are so happy he did, although I don't think he was feeling his best.
Vinny tried out the shelf unit. He sat up there several times. I think he was hoping *danburymint* will use him as a model!
Vinny tried on his shirt that we made him. It needs a little adjusting for the perfect fit, but perhaps this little guy will grow a tad more. He is just 10 months old this week.
Then these two decided to have playtime. Vinny easily played and followed Kiki about. Her tags help him keep an "eye" on her.
then we landed at Vinny's foster peeps....love at first "sight"....those of you that know Vinny, know he's blind! He is a little spitfire!
