In comes the boat.,,

This is probably P's worst time...when the boat comes out of the water for the year. There was only one other boat besides ours still docked, it was time. Someone has to sit in the car, since none of the Pugs are tall enough, I was elected.
Sometimes it is a little scary seeing the boat come at you....
Especially if you feel the driver is not watching where he is going.....
Phew.....
After this we went into town to use the car wash to clean off the boat bottom. 16 quarters, cleaning supplies, and it looks pretty good. We ordered pizza and salads at the local pizza place, which was really "hopping" for a Saturday night. Back to camp for eat and get to bed. Sunday it promised to be a horrible day weather wise, so we packed up the stuff we take home for the winter and left by 11am.

Next week..down comes the screen room.

Closing Camp Countdown

This weekend promises to be cold and rainy. The Pugboat MUST be taken out of the water as the docks are coming out. Even though it is officially Fall, taking the boat out really signals the end of it all.

Now my thoughts turn to entire weekends at home, well after Bloggy Meetup that is!

Next blogworld request....

Does anyone have a good dog sweater pattern???? I would prefer a knit pattern, but can also crochet. I have a request for a yellow sweater for a little black Puggy named Dixie! Also have an idea in the back of my head for my gang....always something brewing in the head!

Happy First Day of Fall

Today is the first day of Fall. It is sunny and mid 70's here. I LOVE this weather, LOVE it!!!! The only problem with Fall....it is dark earlier and earlier and then it is Winter and then it snows and snows and snows..........

but for now, I'll just love Fall!

Girls/Pugs Weekend Recap

Of trees and Pugs.... When we got to camp we say that "hurricaneike" had touched our lives too. The big maple tree in our front yard did not survive the strong winds that blew through.....
We will miss the shade that tree provided, but luckily nothing else was damaged. Seems strange that the tree crashed, but the flamingos stayed put????

Chloe and Zoey were waiting for the arrival of L and her Pug gang....
We went down to the beach and let some of the Puggies romp a bit.....

At night we relaxed.......

On Sunday L and I did our transport leg. We drove over 240 miles! Those sweet babies won't have to produce puppies and be in cages anymore!

We got back to camp around 5pm on Sunday, where P was puggy-sitting our combined 8. He had the couch pulled out and they all watched football, nascar, and napped. We made dinner and L hit the road by 6:30pm to make it to her house before dark. We hated to see her and her gang leave..four seemed quiet.....
When we are old ladies we are going to live together and have a house full of Pugs...oh, wait...we already do!

off to girls....or should I say Pugs weekend at camp...

C and I are packing our bags and the Pugs to leave for the weekend at camp. My friend L with her four Puggies will be there around 2pm. We're going to relax and "pug-it". P gave us detailed instructions on how to "turn everything on"....I think he may be nervous. Honestly, I've watched him open a thousand times, I'm sure I can handle it!

On Sunday L and I are doing a transport leg for Green Mountain Pug Rescue. It promises to be a pug-filled weekend for sure!

Back in the swing...again...

Things to be settling down slightly, well at least running at 95% busy, busy, instead of 110%!

First, thank you all for your Anniversary wishes. P and I are still astounded, 29 years went SO fast! Life sure is a blink in our eyes. I will post an updated "anniversary" photo soon....soon as we take one! LOL

So, first I'll go to last weekend. Saturday we held a small, surprise party for a camping friend.

The birthday boy.., wife, and another friend.....

Chloe snuck out and attended the party....

Many of you will remember my friend paints rocks. She did the flamingo rock for my camp porch. Well, I talked her into painting Pugs! LOL Here are some of the Pugs she created. I talked her into making the little sets. I am now promoting her sales in these. If anyone is interested, let me know and I'll coordinate it. The big rock can also be done custom. You send her a photo of your Pug, or PUGS and she'll paint them on a rock. Her husband makes the custom driftwood stands. They are awesome. I am enjoying them hanging at my house for now and as soon as I find the perfect picture of my four will be putting in my order!

Helping needy Pugs

Sophie and Dixie have asked everyone to help out Kentuckiana Pug Rescue so they can continue to foster and care for needy Pugs. I am happy to select them for this month's rescue group on my Etsy site. Click on Pugpossessed on my sidebar Etsy link to see the items I currently have. I am happy to continue donating 20% of my sales each month to rescue. Don't see anything that you like or that will fit your baby????? Drop me a line or convo me on Etsy and we'll make arrangements for the "perfect fit" item.

Note: The fence shown in my Puggy post actually belongs to my bpf (best pug friend) L. It is actually 2 sections. I believe they can be found on *PetEdge* *CareALot* and even at *Wallmart*. There are different heights and you can purchase with out without a door. It folds up nicely and works much better than the x-pen I purchased last year.
