Last night I walked into this after work....

but Valentine's Day is right around the corner!!!

I've added some items to my Etsy shop and the girl's wanted to model them for you! Luckily this time I had finished up 4 dresses....so no one got left out of the modeling...well, except Marty! When you bring out the camera Marty looks DOWN. The girls...the girls LOVE modeling and dressing up!

although...now that I've looked at their faces they look downright gloomy!!! Must be the weather!!!!

I've also listed a couple of pairs of Pjs. More items to come this weekend! Stay tuned!!!!

What we've been doing....

I've been sick. Nearly two weeks of sick. Finally today I feel almost back to normal! No more sore throat - yeah! The Pugs? Well they loved me being sick. I came home early 4 of the days and stayed home another 2. I'm back to work since Tuesday and busy. I'd rather be home.

A faraway customer.....

Last year I was contacted to make one of my tie sets for a little Pug named Spike. He lives farrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr away from me. Plus his mom's country does NOT authorize *paypal*. We got creative and she ordered and paid and I shipped and fretted that the package would never arrive. Thankfully it did and before Christmas this year she asked me to create a tuxedo coat for him to wear "with" his tie shirt. Having never made a tuxedo before...not to mention a tuxedo for a Pug, I measured and cut, and ripped out, and ended up with this....This week his mom surprised me with their Christmas photo!I love thinking of Spike "way over there" wearing his shirt and ties and now his tuxedo coat! Rock on Spike!!!!

National Delurking Day

I've been blogging since November of 2005. I found out about blogging while searching "pug" on the internet. We were a two Pug family at the time, anxiously waiting for the arrival of Rosie. I came across other people who had Pugs and the rest has been history. I've laughed and cried with many of you over your lives.

I remember when I started blogging people would tell me to be careful and watch out for stalkers and on and on. I considered writing as the "dog" in my blog way back when...but found I was not good at that. "I" always wanted to come through. When I went on my first "blog adventure" ALONE - everyone thought I was nuts. I might be..but I went and had a great time. I have found that most bloggers are EXACTLY as they come across in their blogs.

I have continued to blog because I like to keep a crazy record of my life. I love to "meet" new friends here and in person! I love hearing from readers and consider cyber friends to be very great friends! Heck, thanks to blogging I even got Kiki!!!

Sadly I came down with the flu this past weekend....the gang enjoyed me going from the sofa to the bed, to the sofa. Here they took a little break from their "doctor" duties and relaxed in the sun! Don't let the sunshine fool you. It is mighty cold here...

More angels....

Sadly we heard the news of sweet Stubby's passing today. Stubby has been having health issues lately and his mom and dad were on constant watch with him. Their devotion to this little guy was amazing.This past October I had the great pleasure of meeting Stubby in person. What a darling little guy....simply darling! Heaven gained an angel...that much is true.

Kiki was here....

I purchased a book for my bud, LB for Christmas. It had a lovely printed cover jacket. When I got home from the bookstore I placed the book on the kitchen table. When I returned to the kitchen 10 minutes later I found Kiki "reading" it. The jacket was ripped to shreds and the cover was chewed on the corners. I was VERY upset, but decided that since the inside was fine and LB loves Kiki she would get a kick out of it. She did.

Bday Party Pics

Rosie's birthday was on New Year's Eve...poor thing, she usually has to wait a day to celebrate. She was singing to herself...notice her hat....Kiki did that!

Ice, Ice, Baby

after our transport on 1-1 we headed to our favorite diner.....good food and cheap.... then we drove to camp to check out the place....the beach was amazing!

It was frozen wayyyyyyyyyyy out. Solid, deep, ice. It looked like the waves froze in place. It was raining very hard, so we didn't hang around long..only to walk through and give a look to be sure everyone's places were okay.....all's good at HH.

Transport 1-1-11 rockin' in the year Pug style....

P and I started out 2011 by doing a transport for GMPR. This trip was three little Pugs. A bonded pair and an owner surrender aka *craigslist*. Little Sissy looked so forlorn I had her as my traveling companion. She so enjoyed the attention and belly rubs. You just can't help but fall in love with these little ones! A big thanks out to all the rescue groups, run coordinators, drivers and fosters!!!! Every person plays a part in saving these little ones. May each of you make this the year you find something to be passionate about and volunteer. Whether a car ride, a place to sleep, food, money, whatever...play a part....you will be paid back 10 fold.
