It seems 2014 is not going to let go of me softly.  I'll share more about the next "bleep" in our radar in a few days.  In the meantime I'll share this adorable photo of our baby Stewie when he was in for his dental a few weeks ago.  He is so soft-hearted...with the bark of a lion!

Strange...

Facebook has been doing a year in review.  Most of the titles say something to the effect of it being a great year.  I have not found 2014 to be one of our best years, so I have not participated.  So today Phil opens Facebook and gets the sample post....with sweet Chloe as the title photo.  Weird.

What's up here mom?

The pugs think the bed situation here has gotten out of control.  They are demanding that daddy makes them custom ones that the "big dog" that is visiting can't ruin.

Life....

Sadly some facebook friends lost BOTH of their Pug babies to a snake attack.  Having lost Chloe just two short months ago I am trying to wrap my head around this.  I knew Chloe was sick, I knew her days were short...but these two...this was random.  We all prayed they would make it...they did not.  I am sad.  Very, very, sad.  My heart hurts for them.  My heart hurts for me.  My heart hurts for all those hurting.  I pray 2014 comes to a gentle end.  It has NOT been a gentle year.  The internet has given us the ability to be "close".  Close comes with a price.  We hurt for each other, we rejoice for each other.  We need a gentle end to 2014....we pray for that.

Happy Birthday Daddy

Today is my daddy's real birthday.  Today he is really 80, not surprise party 80.  He's a special guy and I hope I'm just like him when I grow up!

The home stretch

We are coming down the home stretch with holiday shopping in my etsy shop. There are still lots of items ready to ship and even gift certificates so the recipient can pick out their own item. I won't be able to take any custom orders for Christmas delivery after Wednesday the 17th!

Busy, busy!

Friday night my human child and I traveled to my SIL's for a girl's night....

We had a lot of fun and did not get home until 2:30 am

Saturday I was up at 7 and out the door at 9 with a stop at the store, post office and on to the golf course to set up for my dads surprise birthday party!

We enjoyed a great brunch and he was happy as could be! 

Then on to home at 3:30 to relax, change clothes and head out for my work party.  To say we are tired is underestimated! The pugs did not party hearty so they demanded that I get up and feed them at 7!

Pug tree changes

Many, many moons ago (12 human years) I started my Pug obsession collection. We started out with some ornaments that I purchased a tree for. I found this red tree at a shop and decorated it up with my ornament finds. Looking back it seems a little sparse?

Time warp ahead to this year......

March of the Pugs...left, left, left, right, left....

I'm always looking for that new thing to "Pugi-fy".  This year I found wooden toy soldiers....off goes the nose and they become Pugs!  I am enjoying these little guys marching around my craft table.  I showed them on my Pugpossessed Facebook page and they seemed to be a success, so now we've listed some in the etsy shop!  March on little Pugs...march on!
