Another collection? New stuff on etsy

It appears I also collect knitting needles and crochet hooks! This is a sampling of the ones I have. There are more...it is embarrasing, but.....different patterns and yarns require different sizes. Plus after my mom died I got some of the ones she had. Anyhow I came across this crocheted dress I made over 2 years ago! All it needed was the ribbon added, but somehow it got put away and that was that. Crocheting is nice because it is a project you can take anywhere and for someone who can't sit with NOTHING going on, it works. Knitting is great too, but I don't like to take knitting needles in the car....seems dangerous!

I was inspired from my find and have created these. You will find them in my shop. As always if you have another color or need a different size, drop me a note!

Sunday's Activities

Sunday P and I did a transport. A Pug, a beagle and a poodle. The transport coordinators work very hard to put these transports together. Groups work together and piggy back efforts to move them about. Many volunteers drive the legs and do overnights to get these guys to their new homes. This trip the beagle and poodle were both going to their forever homes. The Pug was going to foster home to await his perfect home. Ha, I could have told you where that was! Oh, yeah P was along....no go to that.

My new grandson....

A bouncing baby boy, named Charlie. He had a blast with our foursome yesterday. Big, bad, Marty kept hiding from him! Pretty funny to watch. C and P have been working towards this day for a long time. You know me, I said wait, get a rescue...on and on. But who am I to deny them their own puppy? I am the voice in their ear that says...this is for the rest of HIS life. Don't give up on him!

A little Pug needs our help....

Please Help Save Little Ocho's Life

This Chipin fundraiser is to raise the money to save Ocho. It was passed along to me by friends at GMPR. Ocho is very healthy except he has a cyst that needs to be taken out of his throat. If the cyst is removed he will survive. The cyst is a pocket that is filling up and will asphyxiate him soon. Ocho is a really great dog who loves life. He is so happy to be around people and he loves all other animals. His owner lost her job recently and has already spent THOUSANDS to save him. She just cannot afford this surgery. Please if you have time look at his video and photos. All the Vet information and estimate is available if anyone would like it.

On Valentine's Day I went to a "Boston & Friends" meetup that some friends organize. I was taking some of my stuff to showcase for sale and thought it best only to take one puggy with me. Since Rosie is the BIGGEST CHICKEN in public, I took her..... The photo pretty much says it all...."mom, get me out of here"!

Under the weather......

Unfortunately I have been under the weather, the past few days. I hope to return to "normal" well normal for me soon! Thankfully at least we haven't gotten any of the HUGE snowfalls a lot of the other areas have gotten...although being snowed in and sick would be better than being at work sick.....

Kidney Stones-Meetup-Kidney Stones

and so went the weekend....

P felt pretty good Friday night after his trip to the hospital, so he told me to go ahead and go to meetup on Saturday morning.

It's always funny to see how my gang follows me about. Here I am talking to the group and there they are following me....

and here I am at the GMPR sale table, and look to the bottom corner....they are in a little group, the four of them!

Sunday turned out to be a bad day for P. He suffered and I suffered, know what I mean? We finally got the pain under control at the 4th quarter of the game and it was lights out at 10pm. We are hoping that he soons puts this Kidney Stone stuff - BEHIND HIM.

Tired....

really, really, tired......

What a day....

P took a ride from work to the hospital via ambulance this morning. I didn't get the call right away because he had his boss calling his own cell phone number! He finally called C's phone and she called me. Coffee and a bagel were waiting on my desk at work....I never got there.

Turns out another episode with kidney stones. We've been down this path before with him 5 years ago. The patient is now resting peacefully with Nurse Chloe.
