We will miss the shade that tree provided, but luckily nothing else was damaged. Seems strange that the tree crashed, but the flamingos stayed put????
We went down to the beach and let some of the Puggies romp a bit.....
At night we relaxed.......
On Sunday L and I did our transport leg. We drove over 240 miles! Those sweet babies won't have to produce puppies and be in cages anymore!
We got back to camp around 5pm on Sunday, where P was puggy-sitting our combined 8. He had the couch pulled out and they all watched football, nascar, and napped. We made dinner and L hit the road by 6:30pm to make it to her house before dark. We hated to see her and her gang leave..four seemed quiet.....

Just caught up on all our reading here, what a busy time you have had. Great job saving those pugs from cages. Lucky was in one and I am glad she is not any more.

oh look at all those puggies you transported! that little black one is adorable. i would have been sorely tempted to keep one. may they soon find their forever home!
That is a lot of pug love! What great pictures!
Wow! You are a super-hero, saving the caged puggies!
BTW, I think you need to closely inspect those flamingos. Blew a tree down but not them? That's just creepy.
That looks like a great weekend. I'm so glad the little mill puggies are getting new homes. I love seeing the eight pugs at your camp site. It's amazing to think that "Ike" touched you guys way up there! Makes you realize how fierce these storms are.
I have those same pug pajamas!!
I am so glad you rescued those sweet puggies. Was it hard?
How many pugs did you two pick up? It looks like there were a lot!
A girls weekend! How relaxing.
And it is a special thing, rescuing puggies from that life. I'm praying they find a forever home very soon.
yay for pug transports! that's so great that you were able to help.
Awesome Job Punchy on helping the Mill Pugs find their new journey to a fun loving home...I just applied as a Foster for the (GMPR) I may be a foster to one that you just transported!
