Mast Cell

Ugly words for all of us Puglovers to hear.  We heard those words in 2007 for Marty and again in 2011 for Zoey.  Sadly yesterday afternoon we heard the words again for Zoey.  What started out as "oh, it's just an abrasion/bite/irritation, let's shave the area and give you some antibiotic ointment" turned into "it's more than we thought, needle aspiration, sorry, surgery.  Ugh.

So please keep my little spitfire Zoey in your prayers.  Surgery is scheduled for Wednesday.  Keep her safe, clean margins.  Please.

Sadness abounds today as sweet Benny slipped over that rainbow bridge.  He sure gave that Cancer a big Frenchie Fight.

A quick visit

On our way home from GMPR social we took a little detour to visit our friends Wilma, Brigitte and Sluggo and their paw-rents! They made us an awesome brunch!

Catching up with life posts - revisiting our trip to Vermont for GMPR Social. P and I actually traveled Pugless! Since we had houseguests it worked out. It was strange being without them, but there were plenty of Pugs to love on!

Blogging

We have been blogging for a long time now and this is the longest we have EVER neglected our blog! A month!!!! How can that be? Life has sure gotten the better of us. We will make no excuses for this horrible time loss, but will move on and get our act together!

Off we go....

This is what the back seat of our truck usually looks like on the weekends; however, this weekend P and I are headed without Pugs to the Green Mountain Pug Social in Vermont! Since our daughter and SIL are with us, they offered to Pug sit so we could get away and have less worry and work! I am having a booth again this year and it is stressful with the whole group, so this makes things SO much easier! Plus, we are making a special stop on the way home to bloggy friend!

After our boat ride at camp on Sunday I headed into bed to get warm, crochet and watch a movie. The furry ones joined in, although they didn't do much crocheting!

Farewell to Summer

It was sadly time for the boat to come out of the water. That let's us know that Summer is indeed behind us! For our farewell voyage this year we took Kiki and Stewie. Stewie LOVES the boat and has no fear at all. Kiki on the other hand was unglued. She hated walking down the dock and wasn't all that sure about the boat ride either. It was a bit chilly, so I wrapped the two of them up and around the bay we went.

Some of you may know our grand dog is staying with us for awhile with his mom and dad while they wait to move into their new house. He came with a BIG basket of toys. It's doubtful that basket will be full when he leaves.

Seems a couple of posts I did recently from my phone didn't post last week! Last Sunday the weather was a bit gloomy, but the bay at camp was calm, so P took Chloe out fishing with him.

Happy Gotchaversary to our baby boy Stewie!  Can't believe 2 years ago today we traveled many, many miles to adopt this wonderful little guy!  We have NEVER regretted this decision to add him to our family.  Thank you SEPRA for bringing him to us!

Farewell to summer

Hard to believe today starts Labor Day weekend!  The last long weekend is summer. Although I do live fall, the furry ones and I shall embrace these last summers moments. Last weekend the group helped me make a memory in this little wood hanging.

Charlie has been living with us for about three weeks now, along with C and my SIL.  Kiki was a bit put out that her brother Stewie likes Charlie so much, but I think she is warming up to the situation!
