Zoey

Zoey has had a very rough Winter.  She fought pneumonia for over 6 weeks, and a course of several different antibiotics.  We were off to her bi-annual check up on Monday.  Thankfully the vet believes she sounds much better and that she is clear.  Let's hope so!

This girl never sits still.  Imagine my surprise when the other night my husband when I was sewing upstairs and my husband sent me this in a message!  "Maybe" calming down?  Ha, doubtfull.

2017

I'm thinking when I was a young girl I never dreamed of the year 2017!!!  Well, here's to plenty of good health, love and happiness!!!!

Our boy Stewie turns 7 today.  I promised our little Miss B that the party will be tomorrow when she is there to celebrate with us!  She does love a Pug party!

Holiday Spirit

Where shall we find the Christmas spirit?  I seem to be lacking that "UMPF" to get really going and fear on December 26th I'll be saying...."what just happened"!

My girl and my mom

Saturday marked 16 years of my mom's passing. Ripped away from us by that ugly C word. 16 years of missing. I'd like to say that the tears have stopped, but sadly they have not. The missing....that will never end. On top of that Saturday would have also been our Chloe's 14th birthday. I will forever feel that my mom sent her to me to get over my extreme grief....it did. That I am thankful for. Chloe's entry into our lives did change everything after as did my mom's death. Two events. Life changing. Life does go on and I'm okay. I can be sad, I can cry and I can shake a fist at the sky, but I'm okay!!!!

Unless you live under a rock...a really BIG rock, you know that today is election day. I (and I'm sure most of you) have been avoiding the drama of the election as much as I can on social media. There are a few people that feel the need to post hate and share ridiculous stuff! I finally broke down today with a FB post..... So here's the thing. Three of my grandparents came to the United States as adults. All three became citizens to be able to VOTE. My dad's parents would stay in New York until AFTER they voted each year. I know many of us are not satisfied with the candidates, but honestly VOTE people. There are many, many people throughout the world who do not have that right. Our country is still a good place, not perfect, but good. Start taking accountability, vote: Start paying attention. Stop reading the crap on the internet. It is not all truth. Most of it is bullcrap. Use your brains - stop passing along information that may or may not be correct. We are all entitled to opinions. Leave it at that. Sharing CRAP is CRAP. Get out there and VOTE. Peace out blog buddies!!!

So crazy to look back and see when we were a four Pug family!  In one year we added Marty and Rose and went from one Pug each for handling to two.  I feel like we never missed a beat back then.  We were always on the go and always having SO MUCH FUN.  These four were so good together and so well behaved...cough cough.  A couple of the newer ones have certainly put the term "well behaved" to the test!

Why am I the only one dressed?

Poor little sick Pug...

Zoey has been under the weather for nearly a month now. She was coughing up a storm, so off to the vet we went.

It seems our girl has pneumonia.  So she was put on two meds and they told us to come back in two weeks for more x-rays. 

Sadly, the cough was lingering so more x-rays and more meds. Little Miss B went along this trip.

The bad news is that the cough actually seems WORSE with only 2 days left of the meds. I'm praying this is not more serious than initially thought. Keep passed crossed for us! Miss Zoey has had her limit of problems over her little furry lifetime!

Oh wow I'm not crazy

it seems that I am actually not crazy! For quite awhile now I have been trying to post to the blog using the app on my iPhone.  I'd get entire posts done and they would vanish. For the past couple of days I'd barely get a post tile in and the app would shut down.  I figured now is a good time to research the app- and I find there is now no app for iPhone? What gives????

So here I am today attempting a post through the Google browser and discovering adding photos is a whole new ball game. No wonder blogging is dying!

Two Years....how can it be

So hard to fathom that today marks two years of Chloe's passing!  Two entire years without her little woof.  I find myself looking at her photos and still expecting her to be by my feet.  Ahhhh, life.

Love you Babygirl.....your a hard act to follow.
