Happy Birthday Mom......

3-2-39 to 11-12-00

Sometimes I still can't believe my mom is gone. This will be the twelfth birthday we won't be sharing with her.  I still remember her last birthday, the last gift I gave her...our last conversation.  Lately I have SO been missing calling her, bugging her, stopping over late at night for a cup of tea, wanting to throttle her, laughing with her, crying with her.

So Happy Birthday mom.....you would have been 73 years young today........

I feel your pain and understand exactly what you are going through. I lost my mom 18 years ago. There have been so many milestones in my life that I really wanted to share with her. so many times i needed her advice. I miss her so much. I miss just hanging our and talking with her.

Happy Birthday to your mom! I can't imagine ... I still have both of my parents. I just don't get to see them very often because they both live a couple of hours away. However - your post inspired me to call both of them this evening! HUGS ~ Ellen

PS - Our moms were born the same year!

Happy Birthday mom
I know what your feeling and wanting to say.
I know what your heart is craving...
I know you miss her...
We share feelings like that too.
the date was 10/03/1999- seems just like yesterday.
Were crying tears with you,,, because we just wish there was no death.

We are sad for the loss of your mom. This post makes us realize that never ever take anyone for granted. Share each day and enjoy making memories while you can.

This is our first year without my Grandma, so we're getting used to this missing thing, too. I spent time snuggling with my Grandma lots as she got sicker, and I miss her lots. My mama misses her every day.

Lots of love to you,

Lola Pug

I'm sorry. It is a neverending pain to lose a loved one. We move on but never forget. I hope you can remember some fun memories and think of happier times.

On another note, I am running a St.Patrick's Day contest on my blog. Given your brand new layout, I think you would be an EXCELLENT CONTESTANT! Come check it out and I hope you will think of participating your pug-butt in it.

<3 Bunk.
