Another loss in blogville

I wish I could say there is a good reason for our lack of posts.  There is not.  It seems the combination of Facebook, Instagram and iphones have made it complicated.  There are so many wonderful older photos we love to share and it is so much harder to read blogs from the phone.  Why is there so little time to actually sit down at the laptop and enjoy this?  I loved blogging.  I love the non-drama of it.  The other stuff...well it can be just that "stuff".  TOO much dumb stuff.

So today I checked on the dumb stuff and saw that Henry from Owned by Pugs had passed.  Seriously broke my heart.  The loss of another old time blogger.  I always loved checking in on Henry and his family.  His mama and daddy were ever such wonderful parents.

I still treasure being asked to "create" a costume for them.

How time flies.  How short their little lives are.  How long we miss them.

RIP Henry.

I've been mixing in some projects on my embroidery machine and have these new sets in the shop. I'd really like to play all day on this machine!

So many years have passed since all this started.  Chloe was at the beginning and everything came from that.  I took my love of sewing and created for her and then it blossomed.  More Pugs more sewing, but she reined.

Her photo and that dress I made her all those years ago became my shops logo.

Business cards, banner, tshirts - all from that.  So many moons ago.  I can't bring her back.  I forge on.  I want that enthusiasm again.

Oh where or where have we been...

Life has been crazy hectic.  The new (wow 7 months there already) job is still SO SO SO busy.  No clue how I manage to get stuff done!  Plus, I've been super busy with my etsy shop.    Thanks to many lovely customers, the order steadily come in and I seem to be sewing nearly every evening after work!  Since I use my shop to take care of the furry gang (and Pug daddy was out of work with hish back injury for three weeks) the extra income has been very appreciated! 

So basically I work, play with granddaughter, play with Pugs and sew sew sew and paint paint paint!
