Snow Pugs

It was freezing when we went out this morning. The girls wanted to run across the yard, like always...crazy things. Coming back across the yard, they both started lifting their legs and standing like.."help me", then they sat down in the freezing snow! I coaxed them the last 20 feet and when they came in they stayed in their coats for a while to warm up. I guess it was only 14 degrees! It did warm up to 42 this afternoon and the sun came out. Crazy weather.

That is so cute!! Where did you find those coats? I'd like to see the snow but I do not know how you all deal with that wet icy mess all winter. Of course we are shaking in our shoes all summer trying to dodge hurricanes.

I actually made the coats. They are reversible too! I make all kinds of things for the girls. Sadly, I just tried on their Valentine's dresses and Zoey (being less than a yr. old last yr.) has outgrown hers..maybe too many snacks! As I get older I don't know how we deal with the icy mess either. We are along Lake Ontario, so don't get much ice..just snow, snow, snow. This year we have hardly gotten any, but we are all nervous what February will bring for us. I guess all areas of the US have their good and bad weather. I would prefer to live near the ocean..which is my dream! The lake just isn't the same.

I really enjoy visiting your blog and I must admit that me and my puppy Sadie are the guilty ones who wished for the snow. Up here in the maritimes we usually have awful winters and we have had barely any snow...so we've been hoping for it lately! :o) Those coast are beautiful, could you give me any hints as to how you get your pups to agree to you dressing them. Sadie used to when she was tiny but now it's just a big fight. Thanks!

I too do like looking at the snow, but like it to be done in December! You know have it for Christmas and that's it!

My girls have never minded dressing up. I always tell them how pretty they look and they practically beam! They don't like hats too much, but the hoods are fine. I keep in mind their limitations....

Keep watching, I'll be posting all their holiday outfits as the season's progress through the year. They have outfits for every occasion!
