Rosie the destroyer

Rosie is a chewer. I have never had a dog that chewed. Chloe has the same baby that she got when we first got her. We hid it on Rosie because she destroys everything. Zoey has never chewed anything either. I'm not even sure when she does this stuff...but she does.

Only thing I can think to do is keep her confined to one room when no one is around...or buy her a case of chewies.

Eek, hope those pictures aren't from the vacation house.

I've heard it said that a pug's philosophy when encountering something new is, "If it moves, bark at it; if it doesn't move, chew on it." My friend's pug chews eeeverything within his little reach.

Oh, no! She is committing crimes while you're away. It will get better with time. Chichic was a chewer, too. That's one of the reasons I think I'd adopt an old pug...they don't chew as much or at all.

It might just be a puppy phase. Norman did a bit of chewing before he turned one also. After that, he never messed with anything that wasn't designated as his. You just need to be firm and really give them a good punishing when they chew things up.

Here is a list of things Norman chewed up - wallpaper, linoleum, carpet, china cabinet, couch, shoes, posters, newspapers, and doors.

Don't worry - it's probably just a phase though.

I have been fortunate from that. They stick to what they know is theirs to chew on. Except for the occassional raiding of the waste basket......LOL.

We republished over to http://papugack.blogspot.com I am eliminating pugsalicious.blogspot.com as soon as blogger beta will let me. What a mix up.

Belle is a chewer too...Willow never chewed on anything but her chew sticks....our remote has teeth marks on it too..my sofa table has all four corners are chewed up. she is leaving her mark everywhere...she even chews her ceramic food dishes....she also still nibbles on hands if someone pats her she thinks it is okay to bite their hands...Does Rosie still chew on your hands?
