No Mama's Big Bed for Rosie...yet

Our girls both sleep with us each night. I can't exactly remember the age when they started, but I know it wasn't before 3 months. The hubby keeps asking when Rosie is joining the slumber party. Well, tonight I thought I might catch a few z's with the girls and invited Rosie, she romped around and they all settled in. Again, hubby asked can Rosie sleep in here tonight..."no, too soon", my answer...I don't want her peeing in the bed. So, move forward 15 minutes. Rosie starts acting up and launches herself off the bed. The 3 feet off the ground bed. Okay, come on back up and behave. Rosis starts playing around and runs to the footboard and falls in the space between the mattress and footboard. Okay, let's see where did she go. I go to the end of the bed and there she is hanging between mattress and footboard. Picked her out of there and laughed. She walks up the mattress and PEES. Okay, definetely not ready to sleep with us!

omg that is too funny, I know Brad is anxious for Belle to join the slumber party thing here too. not for another few months..Willow didn't join our bed until she was about 7 months old. Belle leaped off our bed the other day, I checked her over to make she was okay..long way down for a little girl! Good luck!
what if you put her crate near your bed at night??

LOL! Been there done that! Luckily we haven't had any accidents of any kind (other than stinky stinky farts! LOL) for quite a few months now. Dare I say he's finally grown out of it?

I love it...that they all get to sleep in the bed with you all. I feel like that gives you more time to be with them, especially if you have to leave the house to work all day. We've had our bed pee-pee'd on so many times. I am going to get a new mattress one day and get a waterproof mattress cover!!

Let me recommend a plastic mattress cover underneath a quilted cover underneath the fitted sheet for the just in case protection....lol. Speaking from experience of course.

Each of the girls have actually only peed the bed once, thank goodness. Chloe just did it for the first time a few months ago. I think she may have actually been dreaming and peed, because I woke up and was like wow am I peeing the bed and then Chloe looked up at me with her sleepy eyes and that "sorry mom" look. My poor hubby was sleeping and I just rolled up the sheet and mattress cover on my side and left the bed...lol
