Baxterman says thank you for the birthday and Mardi Gras wishes!!! He says he would like to go to a parade where they are throwing moon pies and beads! Do y'all have moon pies up there? Those Mardi Gras collars are so cute! You need to come on down here and celebrate!
Baxterman is VERY welcome. Yes we have moon pies and Beale Street Cafe (a restaurant nearby) decorates for Mardi Gras yearround and gives out beads! LOL I made the collars for our Pug group for a parade we were in...it was rainy and cold, but fun! I loved throwing those beads at people!
Punchy, that's neat. I've never been to the real Beale Street, but I have been through Memphis on a bus on my way to Little Rock, Arkansas!!! Didn't know a soul I was with either...i won some kind of recognition from my teachers in high school to go to a youth leaders conference out there! I see the crazy, drunk people in New Orleans on TV doing bad things to get beads and I think to myself...you can buy those in WAl-Mart!
