Poor Pixie

This has to be one of the most heartbreaking Pug's I've ever seen!

Check her story out: http://www.curlytailpugrescue.org/

That is so heartbreaking! I have never seen such a skinny pug...and I thought Eli and Eddie were nothing but skin and bones when we got them...this is just too sad! I hope they are able to treat her. At least she is getting the love and attention she needs now!
Pug hugs and kisses!

I saw that on Lori's blog--so sad. But she has such a beautiful face and still seems to have that pug spunk we love. What a sweet girl!!

I saw this on Lori's blog, too. I see that pug spunk shining through and will pray for her to respond to treatment. A very sad story indeed!

Mom hasn't even read the story and she already wants to bean somebody. Pixie has such a cute face, how can anyone do that to an animal?

Glad Marty is doing well, and boy, is your first born tall. Mom says she's not ready for PlusOne to be that old yet. He'll be twelve on Tuesday.

The poor thing, it baffles me that someone can let this happen.
Glad she is in a better home now.

Ohmigod...When I saw the upclose pictures tears just immediately sprang up in my eyes. How can you look at a dog like this every day and not do something about it?!?! Even if you are ill - even if you can't take care of yourself - can you not call someone or take it somewhere that CAN take care of it?! Unbelievable. Fortunately, it seems someone interceded in time and I pray that she will be up to snuff and gaining weight soon. How incredible....

p.s. I'm popping over to Green Mountain today to make a donation.

p.s.s. Yay for Marty!!! Prayers are powerful!!

That is so sad! We'll keep an eye on her updates, poor little thing. We're very happy to hear that Marty is doing better.

Hi - just saw this. June 16. You'll all be happy to know Pixie is sitting next to me as I type this, and is happy, healthy, and now weighs 16 pounds! The folks at Curly Tail Pug Rescue did miraculous work getting her healthy enough for us to adopt. She's a great addition to the family, and is loving life!
