Uncooked noodles

I haven't made lasagna in ages. I HATE cooking the noodles, etc. I tried baking them uncooked once and hated the way it turned out. Anyhow, I saw these noodles, specific for not baking. I had thrown out my baking dish, so P picked me up a beauty at the store. I put the whole thing together and I have to say it was the most beautiful and delicious lasagna I ever made. Sorry the family was too hungry to wait for me to take photos. Trust me it was great. Anyone else ever try these?

I will DEFINETLY try those. That is why I never make lasagna either. My noodles turn out too tough for my taste when I make it. I'll look for these next time I am at the store!

Woman made a lasagna last week too. She used lamb instead of beef. I hear it was way yummy. She uses regular boiled noodles though. Why do you hate boiling noodles so badly?

oh yeah, i've tried them! no more cooking noodles for me. i can have a lasagna ready to eat in 30 minutes if i make it meatless. in fact, i'm making it this sunday.

Am - they are good, don't be confused that you only lay out 4 to each layer and they don't cover the pan area...they grow~!

Norman - I hate all the time it takes to cook the noodles. Then all the mess draining them and I burn myself laying them in the pan and I HATE things that take an extra step that takes so much time, when I could be eatting instead!

Girlville - I love how fast it cooks! I didn't follow the recipe on the box that says to put the meat and ricotta mixture in the same layer. I brown the meat, then add sauce to it. I alternate the meat layer then ricotta layer. I ended up with more layers than the box says. I also used an entire box, plus 4 noodles from the second box. They also say to put mozzarella in between each layer. I only put that on top. It has enough calories in it!

Nope, my parents have never tried the non-baking ones. That looks interesting; I will have to tell my parents to try them . . .

Hi Punchy,
Glad you had success with these no-cook noodles. I actually have never tried making lasagna, but I kind of want to try now! I will look for those noodles.
Your red walls look great, and love the puggy valentine pics - such cute dresses!

i've never tried those. I'll definitely try those next time I make lasagna. My noodles always stick together and I hate that some are broken.

Mom will have to look into those noodles. The description is making her mouth water. I can do without, but then, I am a dog.
