I've been thinking about the "rescues" I have done over the past few years. When considering adding another Pug (or any other pet) to your family, please consider rescue....they have so much love to give...
That is so true. They all deserve a good home. And Baxterman and Sugar sure have been loving to us. It was so fun to have Chichi and Tiny as puppies and that is so fun to have those memories of what they did as puppies...but I love the older pugs and giving them a place to spend the rest of their lives in peace and comfort just a small thing compared to the love they show.
Oh, Punchy, that is so sweet and touching. They are so precious and need wonderful, loving homes. I don't know how you do it, but I am so thankful for people like you! I am so happy we found Oscar through the local animal shelter and definitely plan to rescue in the future. I check our local rescue's website every day and there are so many pugs who need good homes. Thanks for sharing this!
Oh I love this....I will always go through a rescue now that we adopted Turbo through one it is just the right way, There are way too many out there needed that forever home they disirve....
hear hear! there are way too many homeless animals out there. though none of our 4 rescued kitties are breed specific but both punchy with the pug rescue and pam with the siamese rescue prove that it is possible to get a certain type of dog or cat. i am so proud and thankful to everyone who takes in a homeless fur baby!
My two older sisters were rescues. Muffie & Bridget were rescued by mom when they were 5 and Muffie lived to 16-1/2 and Bridget to 15-1/2. Rexcues are great. We consider Lucky a rescue.
You are such the awesome person to rescue all those sweet dogs . . . My parents want to get me a sibling from a rescue, but they haven't been able to locate one in Alaska . . . the closest one is in Seattle. They are not sure if the rescue in Seattle will allow adoptions from another state (I know alot of rescues have restrictions . . .)

We can see the love on all those faces.
Love, Seadra and Zoe
Certainly gives me something to think about since Terry and I are thinking about getting another pug as a companion to Poley.
