My first ambulance ride

Okay, the knee is better, however, last night I awoke out of a sound sleep with unbelievable chest pain. I totally freaked at 3am..I got out of bed shut the girls in my room, called my hubby to come home from work, then called 911, and then went in to wake my dad. We ended up with everyone awake, 2 different ambulance companies, the police, and who knows who else was in my kitchen. My family said they never saw me act so scared. My hands were shaking so bad I was trying to hold them in my lap....off I was whisked for my first ever ambulance ride..at least in the back! IV's, nitro pills, all very, very scary. Thankfully, I am back home...resting. I was monitored all day, saw the heart specialist, and took a stress test. No heart attack!!! Wow, what a week! I'm off to take a nice bath and lay on the couch with my girls.

AH! Thank GOD it wasnt a heart attack! Any idea what it was? No one will make fun of you if it ends up being heart burn or gas.

But seriously, I am glad you are ok. You should train your husband or daughter to be able to post on your blog in case you ever have to go to the hospital again.

You definetly need to take it easy and get lots of lovin from the pugs.

Thank goodness you are okay. Wow, that is so scary. So they are not going to do a heart cath? Do you think it was any medication they gave you for your knee that might have done that to you?

Oh My! do they know what it was? Is it stress? What a scare! Take it easy and get some rest...I can't imagine how frightening that must of been...Glad your are okay. Just try to relax and enjoy the girls for awhile. Wish I lived closer to take the girls for walks while you rest up!

THANK YOU!!! all for your good wishes. They still believe no heart attack, thank God. I went to my own doctor today and he thinks I may have actually strained my chest muscles! Wow, like how did I do that...lifting a chubby Pug or two??? Anyhow, I am on Advil every 4 hours for the next 3 days and see how things go. I am getting bloodwork done on Monday and have a physical scheduled for late May. Thanks again to you all!
