National Delurking Day

I've been blogging since November of 2005. I found out about blogging while searching "pug" on the internet. We were a two Pug family at the time, anxiously waiting for the arrival of Rosie. I came across other people who had Pugs and the rest has been history. I've laughed and cried with many of you over your lives.

I remember when I started blogging people would tell me to be careful and watch out for stalkers and on and on. I considered writing as the "dog" in my blog way back when...but found I was not good at that. "I" always wanted to come through. When I went on my first "blog adventure" ALONE - everyone thought I was nuts. I might be..but I went and had a great time. I have found that most bloggers are EXACTLY as they come across in their blogs.

I have continued to blog because I like to keep a crazy record of my life. I love to "meet" new friends here and in person! I love hearing from readers and consider cyber friends to be very great friends! Heck, thanks to blogging I even got Kiki!!!

Delurking Day is a day to come out of the shadows and comment on all the blogs you read! I know a lot of you read my blog...my stats show LOTS of visits! So delurk...let me know who your are and if you have a blog!

I'm off to read blogs and DELURK!

Love you Punchy read every blog, we are a pug family have always rescued but we are about to add a fifth, our first puppy in over 15 years. I'm working from home mostly now and feel it's the right time.
I use the picture of the Pugboat for my screen saver! Hope you don't mind.

Hello, I follow your blog in Google Reader. It was recommended on PugSpot. I lost my male pug a few months back and could not picture life without a pug so now have a 6 mon. old black girl pug Tallulah Jane.

Hi Pug Mom!

Love your blog! We come around all the time. We only leave comments if we can think of something to say! Sometimes we run out of clever...haha! :)

I am an avid fan of your blog and ready it almost daily. Because I am usually at work, oops, time is limited. I don't mean to be a LURKER and try to comment at least once in a while.
My blog "A Bowl of Noodles" (http://noodlesthepug.blogspot.com)began as a mother daughter project where we'd both write about our new pug, Noodles. For me, it is a means to still participate in my chosen field of writing even as the field itself has remained elusive. For my daughter, it is a wonderful way to hone her creative writing skills and to learn to think outside the box.

Punchy, I'm so glad we got to know each other from the internet and then got to meet in person. I'm so glad there are so many people who are crazy about pugs! You really have to be a little crazy to have four and five of those little darlings.

Hi Aunty Punchy!! We are so glad that we have gotten to meet you!! We have made so many friends through our blog too! It's an amazing community. We do have to admit that we do lurk on some blogs because of time constraints.

Whew. I was worried there for a minute what "delurking" meant. Anyway, we do look at your blog all the time. That naughty Kiki reminds me so much of Coco about a year ago. I also love seeing your new etsy items being an artist also. Isn't it fun to get to show off our babies on the blog? My friends get tired of hearing their exploits, so it is fun to get comments from other pug enthusiasts.

Great Idea! My name is Carrie and I found your blog via Green Mountain Pug Rescue. Your blog makes me smile. We have been blessed to have several lovely pugs in our lives. Your stories about Kiki bring back so many memories (Rufus loved to eat things too. Namely molding and chair rail.) I blog but not about pugs- coupons and being cheap- more $$ for greenies and puggy peanutbutter cookies:)
(www.cadyvillecouponclipper.blogspot.com) Thanks for all of the smiles and laughs!
