Girls/Pugs Weekend Recap

Of trees and Pugs.... When we got to camp we say that "hurricaneike" had touched our lives too. The big maple tree in our front yard did not survive the strong winds that blew through.....
We will miss the shade that tree provided, but luckily nothing else was damaged. Seems strange that the tree crashed, but the flamingos stayed put????

Chloe and Zoey were waiting for the arrival of L and her Pug gang....
We went down to the beach and let some of the Puggies romp a bit.....

At night we relaxed.......

On Sunday L and I did our transport leg. We drove over 240 miles! Those sweet babies won't have to produce puppies and be in cages anymore!

We got back to camp around 5pm on Sunday, where P was puggy-sitting our combined 8. He had the couch pulled out and they all watched football, nascar, and napped. We made dinner and L hit the road by 6:30pm to make it to her house before dark. We hated to see her and her gang leave..four seemed quiet.....
When we are old ladies we are going to live together and have a house full of Pugs...oh, wait...we already do!

Just caught up on all our reading here, what a busy time you have had. Great job saving those pugs from cages. Lucky was in one and I am glad she is not any more.

Wow! You are a super-hero, saving the caged puggies!

BTW, I think you need to closely inspect those flamingos. Blew a tree down but not them? That's just creepy.

That looks like a great weekend. I'm so glad the little mill puggies are getting new homes. I love seeing the eight pugs at your camp site. It's amazing to think that "Ike" touched you guys way up there! Makes you realize how fierce these storms are.
