Me against the woodchuck....

I haven't done any gardening yet this year, but every day I push this piece of lattice back in place under porch and every afternoon it looks like this again......
I thought at first it was that bunny...but then last week I saw the bunny had been squished by a car...poor bunny! Now I don't mind that fat little Woodchuck hanging about, but maybe she could go over to the barn and hang there? I have a feeling she is going to be enjoying my flowers this year and that doesn't make me real happy!

Sorry to laughy laugh...but Mommy has the same lattice under our front porch and we have critters that take up residence too. In the fall they will steal Mommys lil pumpkins and gourds and Mommy will see them on the ground like they were trying to be stuffed behind the lattice. Mommy also has big tree like weeds that grows through the lattice that she is always fighting with.
Sorry 'bouts the bunny. :(
Now as for the Woodchuck...try reasoning with him. Get the hose!

Ohhh, woodchucks area royal pain. Once in our old house one chased down my uncle (he was on the porch where the woodchuck wanted to run when he saw him) I never saw such a big tough human run like such a little scared human.

Uh oh! We have the CUTEST baby groundhogs (which apparently are the same thing as woodchucks, just googled it) outside our office. I know they cause destruction with all their tunneling, but they are SOOOOOO adorable!

Poor little bunny...now I don't think we have woodchucks here. But that's a nice place for them to live up under that area where they can have shelter! Put some fake flowers in your garden! That'll teach 'em.
