Rosie wants to tell everyone about Marty's bad weekend. Zoey would rather forget the whole darn thing!
Everyone planned on having a good time playing outside, going for walks, and maybe even a boat ride....
but....poor Marty was sick. It all started on Thursday with him having ****dia****a - ugh, even the word is gross...plus Rosie doesn't know how to spell it. Besides the potty problem, he was not eatting...anything. Mom tried ground beef, yougurt, treats, cottage cheese, regular cheese, cake, more treats, kibble, scrambled eggs. Wow, us girls wished we could eat the stuff she was throwing in the garbage!
We all left for camp and dreamed of mom's birthday cake, but all mom could think about was Marty. She was sure he was full of cancer and she was crying. He did not eat on Friday or Saturday and continued with his potty problem. Mom said she didn't care what was going on at camp, she was taking Marty home to the emergency vet. Everyone there got pretty nervous because of the surprise party they had planned for mom. Finally on Saturday night Marty ate some of dad's beefstick. Normally mom would NEVER allow this, but she was so happy he ate anything! On Sunday morning mom made him rice and a little kibble and he gobbled it up! He still had the potty problem, but was at least eatting. By Monday he was back to normal and mom was sure happy about it! Good thing none of us girls got it!!!

Whew - thank goodness Marty is feeling better.
The girls look very concerned in that picture too!
Loves from pugs,
Rosie Marie
I am so so glad Marty is feeling better. He had many years left on Earth. MANY more, I just know.
awww..us moms worry like that sometimes because we wouldn't know what to do without our puggies! Glad Marty is feeling better and mom is too!
oh phewww...so glad Marty is feeling better! poor ol fella!
So very glad Marty is on the mend! I really worry when Fuji doesn't eat since pugs could eat nonstop if you let them. My other dogs are kinda picky so I don't worry if they don't eat right away but Fuji is another story. Happy Belated Birthday by the way!
Poor Marty!!
Its not fun to eat when it just goes righ back out :(
Glad to hear he is doing much better!
maybe he ate a bug and it make him sick??? anyways, glad he is all better now!
poor little man. What a scare! I'm glad he's feeling better.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaw - poor Marty. I'm sure glad that his tummy problems are over! You girls need to be nice to him - Okay?
So glad Marty is feeling better. Sometimes we Pugs just get sick bellies - he probably ate something you would call "yucky" out in the yard.
We are so glad Marty is feeling better. I am still "getting rid" of granola, so mom sort of knows how you feel. Except she says I would still eat everything I could lay my paws on.
Roxy
It is scary when our puggies won't eat!! So glad Marty is on the mend!!! Pug hugs!
I've had a delicate tummy dog before. The vet told me to not feed for 24 hours, only water (easier said than done with multiples) then feed them rice and plain hamburger. Make a big pot of rice with lots of water, when the rice is done save that water and cook up your hamburger with it. Only rice/bland hamb. Also the health food store carries acidophiles in capsules that you sprinkle on food to help restore intestinal flora.
Glad that he's feeling better. Poor little munchkin.
