New Thought for each day...

Earlier today my receptionist talked about her current financial crisis, later in the morning a friend talked about being able to afford a vet visit, then tonight at dinner P started talking about something he had heard on the news....I YELLED "STOP".... we all know things are bad. We hear about layoffs, closings, bankruptcies, every day. You can't turn on the radio, the computer, the tv, without hearing about it and frankly I have HAD IT. So when P started talking about bad news...I looked him straight in the face and said "in a few months things are going to get better". He looked at me like I was crazy...heck, maybe I am crazy, but I think the power of positive thinking can't hurt, right? So now when I hear something bad, I'm going to say it "in a few months things are going to get better"...I am going to repeat it and say it and spread it. I made P promise that tomarrow at work he would say those exact words to 5 co-workers, I promised to repeat it and continute to repeat it.....

it sure can't hurt!......

so blogland...."in a few months things are going to get better"!

The power of positive thinking and PRAYER! I don't watch the news anymore. I turn it off or don't even turn the TV on. It is reality that we are living in new times that we aren't used to but these times have come and gone throughout history. It will get better again.

What is this financial crisis of which you speak? Will it affect my goodboy bone intake? I certainly hope not!! Are you saying that in a few months I will get MORE goodboy bones? That sounds pretty rockin'!! You should definitely spread that word.

Good thinking!! I don't watch the news AT ALL. There is such good out there that people never talk about...only the bad. My motto has always been "This, too, shall pass..." whenever I'm stressed out. And you know what?? It does!

Yes, yes, yes! We couldn't agree more. Things WILL get better. They have to. We order it.

I certainly agree with you. We don't watch the news either. I just don't want to see everyone bickering and complaining. This is the situation and everyone is trying to deal with it. Now let's think positively for a change.

I sure hope so! I could tell you ten stories off the top of my head of people getting laid off, etc due to this crisis - so the only thing to do now IS to think positive.
