As always today is also a day that weighs heavy on my heart....8 years ago today my mom passed away from cancer....diagnosed only 2 weeks her passing was a shock...she was only 61. I think of her every day and thank God for the wonderful mother she was. She's the one who was crazy enough to start teaching me to sew at age 6!
The missing never ends......

I can't imagine how my life would be without mine. My daddy passed away from cancer, too, almost 13 years ago. In his case, it was very long and devastating. I don't like to remember it.
