Vacation Week 2

This summer the weather has been ever changing. I have not allowed myself to get caught up in the "one rainy day" each weekend, Lake Ontario looking like the Atlantic Ocean with waves, lightning, thunder, water spouts, etc. I have used the rainy days to read and craft, the sunny days to boat, garden, and just be outside. This vacation week went from thunder and lightning, to torrential rain, hail the size of quarters, more rain, more thunder, more, more, more....then the sun came out, the wind continued, the storms could be seen out over the lake, thunder in the distance....in between a friend passed away.....expectedly, yet not, a trip home for "appropriate clothing", a drive to another town for calling hours, the week continued....then I came home and saw Lori's Pugsley passed and I thought of the ever changing weather and ever changing life and I cried.

Sounds like a nice vacation even when life takes the dips and turns that it does...we just keep going. I'm sorry to hear about your friend and about Lori's Pugsley...he was a good boy for her.

I know what you mean.. life must go own... we cried many tears for Pugsley and for Roxy's sprout as well. I'm sorry about your friend.

I love the picture of the rainbow...

Lovely pictures! I love the third one with the rainbow. I heard you all were getting quite a bit of rain up there.
I'm sorry to hear about your friend.

I know exactly how you feel...I have been reading about Lori's struggles with Sausage's illness and she's so strong. It always makes me cry to think what I would be going through if that were my Poley or Ruki. And I suppose, one day it will be me...so it's hard for all of us. You know?

It has been a very difficult week for us, here and that is without the weather. Everything is ever changing, no matter how much we want it to stay the same.
