Some have asked about this little "family" project. Well, it was so easy a dog could do it...sorry, bad joke! Anyhow, I just used regular craft paint and a found heart shaped beach rock. You could also use a round stone or even a piece of wood. The trick is not to have the dog stamp into the paint, but to paint the pad areas only them press onto the rock and life the foot straight off. Works better with 2 humans, unless your dog (or cat) is asleep. Once you have stamped, quickly wash the residual paint off the paw unless you want more little prints...everywhere. We did have to redo Zoey and Rosie's as their first attempt did not resemble a pawprint. I just washed off with wet paper towel, let it dry and re-did. I will clear coat with spray sealer this coming weekend. It can then be put outside if you'd like. I actually plan on leaving mine inside.

I suppose Woman will have me trampling around in paint this weekend now. ugh.
will you come down here and paint my cats' feet for me????
It is a very sweet idea. :)
I think it is just super cute..What a treasure! I love seeing how each of their paws are slightly different.
We did our cats paws in concrete once (which they hated no doubt) but each had a different characteristic.
Very cute! We will have to try this over here. But with only one pug it won't look nearly as cute as yours does!
what a great project! so creative and thoughtful!

I Love it! But Bitsey gooes insane if we toudh her feet. Maybe I could do it outside then pop her into the baby pool!
Now that is a great idea! would you mind if we copied your idea??
Tori would call me a "poser" if she knew about your paw print idea...lol she hates it when people copy others ideas... Pfft~
That is a great project and great finished piece. Thanks for the details.
