I know what you mean. One day you just look at one of them and you see it. I think the grey and white fur is beautiful! But I wish they were forever with us in person. But will always be with us in our hearts. I have to stop and hold mine and remind myself to remember that exact feeling for the future.
I know what you mean, my first girl turned 14 in November. We got her when she was seven, very sassy, but she has mellowed into a grand old dame. She even puts up with the puppy Bubba who turned one this week!
When I look into that gray face I feel like we were blessed to find each other.
Oh, I share this sentiment totally! We've been so preoccupied with PDE stuff that we've just started to realize that she's now getting old too. If you find out how to stop the clock, please let me know. Love, Christy (Payton's mom)
I feel the same. Lola is still just a baby but Tucker isn't and has health issues that will most likely make his time with us even shorter. Frankly I don't know what I will do without him when the time comes. Just thinking of it brings me to tears. I really noticed the grey in his face last week when we were on our way to the vet and cried for the entire way there. Shea (Lola and Tucker's Mom)
