I miss blogging

I really miss blogging.  The world is just not the same. 

Life is moving along fast it seems.  Many of our furry friends have passed away.  We have lost contact with many.  It makes me sad.  So.....here I am living with EIGHT Pugs.  When the heck did I become THAT lady?  LOL

We have been missing for so long!  Sadly with the blogger app no longer working for iphones, blogging has become complicated!  Taking photos from your phone and posting was SO simple, now to take a photo, save to laptop and then post...just seems too much???? 

Anyhow, many of you who know us on F*book or Inst*gram know we are still a busy family of Pugs!

This past Summer, Petey, Buster, Sophie and I went to PugCamp...

P, Sophie, Stewie, Petey, Buster and I went to Green Mountain Pug Social and then I traveled solo to have my booth at the Pug Rescue of New England event.   I'm still sewing up a storm and enjoying life! We still miss our Chloe and Marty a lot, even with 3 newbies in the pack. 

The heavenly 18

This guy....what a treasure.  His nickname Goodboy Marty.  He was a good boy.  Rescued at 7 and more than 10 wonderful years with us.  Yet, 10 was not enough.  We think of him and all those birthdays.  First wishing he could make 10, then maybe 11, wow you think he'll live to 13?  He survived and lived and taught us about love and gratitude and he made sweet 16 and then 17....but the big guy upstairs decided there would be no earthly 18th.  So we think of him and I close my eyes and hear him...Happy heavenly birthday goodboy.....

Zoey has had a very rough Winter.  She fought pneumonia for over 6 weeks, and a course of several different antibiotics.  We were off to her bi-annual check up on Monday.  Thankfully the vet believes she sounds much better and that she is clear.  Let's hope so!

This girl never sits still.  Imagine my surprise when the other night my husband when I was sewing upstairs and my husband sent me this in a message!  "Maybe" calming down?  Ha, doubtfull.

2017

I'm thinking when I was a young girl I never dreamed of the year 2017!!!  Well, here's to plenty of good health, love and happiness!!!!

Our boy Stewie turns 7 today.  I promised our little Miss B that the party will be tomorrow when she is there to celebrate with us!  She does love a Pug party!

Holiday Spirit

Where shall we find the Christmas spirit?  I seem to be lacking that "UMPF" to get really going and fear on December 26th I'll be saying...."what just happened"!

My girl and my mom

Saturday marked 16 years of my mom's passing. Ripped away from us by that ugly C word. 16 years of missing. I'd like to say that the tears have stopped, but sadly they have not. The missing....that will never end. On top of that Saturday would have also been our Chloe's 14th birthday. I will forever feel that my mom sent her to me to get over my extreme grief....it did. That I am thankful for. Chloe's entry into our lives did change everything after as did my mom's death. Two events. Life changing. Life does go on and I'm okay. I can be sad, I can cry and I can shake a fist at the sky, but I'm okay!!!!

Unless you live under a rock...a really BIG rock, you know that today is election day. I (and I'm sure most of you) have been avoiding the drama of the election as much as I can on social media. There are a few people that feel the need to post hate and share ridiculous stuff! I finally broke down today with a FB post..... So here's the thing. Three of my grandparents came to the United States as adults. All three became citizens to be able to VOTE. My dad's parents would stay in New York until AFTER they voted each year. I know many of us are not satisfied with the candidates, but honestly VOTE people. There are many, many people throughout the world who do not have that right. Our country is still a good place, not perfect, but good. Start taking accountability, vote: Start paying attention. Stop reading the crap on the internet. It is not all truth. Most of it is bullcrap. Use your brains - stop passing along information that may or may not be correct. We are all entitled to opinions. Leave it at that. Sharing CRAP is CRAP. Get out there and VOTE. Peace out blog buddies!!!
