Marty's Checkup
As many of you have read in my previous posts Marty H-A-T-E-S the vet. Nothing personal to the vet...the place, the experience..yada yada yada. We avoid going at all costs and at his last visit the vet suggested perhaps we could find someone who did home visits for him....sigh.
Anyhow last week we got a card in the mail that said Marty was overdue for his shots? WHAT???? I couldn't believe it. Now it was only by a week, but still! I scolded myself and decided to give taking him in another shot. P was suppossed to meet me, but then had to work over. Drat. So I had to rush home, get him in the car and over to the vet. When we walked in the door he had second thoughts. I pushed him in and he got on the scale. Next stop, the exam room where he hide under the corner seat. Then in comes vet and tech and up on table he goes. Checked his ears, eyes, heart....well he made a lot of noise for that part. Then they tried to look at his teeth. Not going to happen. Now comes the shots. I say..he hates being restrained...let's loosen the hold and see what happens...and one shot, two shots. Phew. THEN the vet wanted to do bloodwork for heartworm and a Senior panel. AND IT WORKED.
I tell you he PRANCED out of there!
They called back last night and said the panel came back perfect! Yeah!

Secret Santa Exchange
I was part of a Secret Santa Exchange that AM orchestrated. I got a couple of emails asking me if my gift had arrived....no, nothing....no, nothing....no, nothing.....
Then yesterday I went outside and saw footprints in the snow heading to our back garage door. This is NOT a door we EVER use and it is the BACK...notice the word BACK of the garage....
There was my package, sitting in the snow. Grrrrrrr. Looks like I'll be making yet another trip to the PO to complain about our delivery person. This is not the first time a package has been left somewhere ridiculous, or out in the snow, or the rain, or left without a signature when there was a paper on top saying CUSTOMER MUST SIGN FOR PACKAGE.
Okay, okay, enough of my complaining! On to the exchange...
My Secret Santa was M aka Shopper Girl! I actually met M a few year's ago when I went to Bloggy Meetup in Raleigh.
I dug right into these.....
The work of art is actually done by a dog named Carson! Isn't that cool?
and then took myself off for a shower with the Vanilla Bean Shower Gel.....I kept wondering who smelled like Vanilla all night! It was me!!!!
Thanks M!!!!

Meet Baxter....
A chip-in has been started to help Green Mountain Pug Rescue with his vet needs. Please consider visiting Meet Baxter a sweet little 3 year old Pug found wandering the streets. Who knows what life he led before, but he has a bright future! Baxter is just a wonderful little guy. Super friendly and despite obvious skin problems..so happy! He loves to just be held and will fall asleep in your arms and stay there as long as you'll let him! You can NOT help but fall in love with this little guy!!!! Help GMPR help Baxter, get him well and find him the loving home he SO deserves!
Baxter came from a kill shelter in Ohio. He was our overnight guest at Hotel Punchy. Despite his tattered exterior Baxter has a heart of gold. So loving, so happy, so trusting. These situations just break your heart. Kudos to all the loving people who rescue, transport, foster, donate, and do whatever they can to make the world a better place for these little guys.
It was like having a little baby! He was happy to snuggle all night long.

December is looking up aka Countdown to Christmas
Dad is all settled in.
The car was totaled, but a settlement has been reached.
We have a tenant!!!!
Saturday morning we have our annual Pug Meetup Christmas Pawty and Saturday night is our office party. If that doesn't get the Christmas Spirit moving...well, I just don't know what will!
I am still trying to ge things listed on my Etsy site (see sidebar and click or visit www.pugpossessed.etsy.com) and will continue to do shameless self-promoting here on my blog! I am told I need to promote myself more. Hope I'm not sending you all running!
Pjs....I have many different Winter and Holiday flannels to keep your little one warm and adorable. These are one piece and are open underneath for easy potty breaks!

Here is Salinger modeling the custom ones I made for him last year. He still hates me.
My shirt & tie sets. My own design that I have been doing for a few years. Still one of my favorites. A "man" for all seasons!
