Kiki goes to Vermont

Our furry family is back from the GMPR Social in Vermont.

We got in on Friday afternoon and headed over to the field to help with setup. Friday night was the pizza party. Karen, President and Founder of GMPR showed off a cupcake someone made. She vowed to NEVER eat this cupcake!Here Karen gets to meet Kiki in person! So many people at the event knew Kiki from her Kentuckiana Puppy Cam days!!!!
Here is Kiki in her little bug costume we won for a $1...she will probably fit into this for five minutes!

When we got back to the hotel after the event ended...everyone was tired. Marty put himself to bed. I don't think her ever left that spot on my pillow!

Marty picked the most uncomfortable position ever! Not sure if he was protecting the cheese in that cooler, or just hoping to be the first one out the door when we got home!

Busy, always seem to be busy!

Weekend recap included....dogs out, dogs in, sewing, feeding dogs, sewing, dogs out dogs in, kiki NO don't chew mom's cupboards, sewing, kiki - no potty in the house, going to a wedding, staying up TOO late and yesterday...one last boat ride.....
The docks come out October 2nd, butwe're busy the next two weekends, so the boat HAD to come out on Sunday. P had to work until 1, but we hustled and got there in time for a little fishing and a boat ride with our friends S & G. Then we had dinner on the beach! We're calling it "beans on the beach"....dinner of hot dogs and beans cooked over a driftwood fire! It was GREAT! We got to witness a beautiful sunset too....

Another project done...

I have been working on a tray with ceramic tiles at CMM. I actually purchased the materials prior to KiKi's arrival, but since there was room for 6 tiles and I NOW have five Pugs, it worked out perfect!

Windy Weekend

We didn't get to camp until Saturday afternoon. To say it was windy, was an understatement! The lake was topsy turvy with 5 to 9 foot waves. The beach was quite a draw for everyone all weekend. We went down and let the waves crash on us. I took video, but can't seem to figure out how to save it from my cell phone....idiot!

Things are busy here in Pugland. I'm getting things ready for my booth at the Pug Social for GMPR later this month.
