Day Two morning.....

Saturday morning we went over to the event site. It was COLD and WET. Fog and dew, wet grass....fun! We set up our booth and had barely finished when the festivities started.

Earlier this year Sonny Ray (see his story HERE) passed away. His mom and dad, Phil and Judy from GMPR were devastated. There was talk amongst some of us about doing some sort of artwork. I offered to do a painting and was provided with Judy's favorite photo of him. This was all done in secret. The event was dedicated to him and after introductions L, P and I were called up. I presented them with my painting and then gave them a check for $1,000 that we raised for them at Pugstock. I tell you there wasn't a dry eye. I talked FAST and exited QUICK!

After the ceremony all the fun began!

I sold dresses, I sold paintings, tiesets, wood art.....

A repeat customer....Miss YumYum...isn't she adorable?

The Pugs watched......

I saw big dogs that looked the color of Pugs.......

more to come.....

Day One continued.....

Friday afternoon we hit the hottub. The tub itself was fantastic. HUGE in a circular room all on it's own. I can imagine when it is snowing there it is beautiful too! Anyhow, apparently the owner OVER CHLORINED the hottub thinking about how many people would be going in it over the weekend. The chlorine was SO strong that it literally burned. We stole the tablets out and opened all the windows...not before a lot of running makeup....sorry J, just had to post this one. She kept saying..."take my picture, take my picture"....so we did...... L and I looking goofy.

and because I'm not adverse to posting bad pics of myself...here's one at the pizza party....I believe I may have been just wiping my mouth, which was full of a bite of pizza...

meanwhile back in the room L had put puppy pads on the floor for the Pugs in case of an accident. Since my gang has no idea what they are, they decided to use them to sit on. We ended up picking them all up and using one for the water dish spills.

Back at bloggin' Day One to Vermont....

We got up VERY early Friday morning to leave for Vermont and the "social". I had loaded the car the night before and make the back seat for the gang. We rented a car as neither of our cars were suitable since BOTH of us have no air-conditioning now...ugh...another whole story.....anyhow, I rigged up the gate between the seats and loaded the sleepy heads in, and off we went.... P was the driving, as I NEVER drive fast enough for him. I took pics along the way as best as I could in motion. The Adirondack Mtns. are also in our state and we passed through *SarasotaSprings* beautiful...and always mountains.....majestic and beautiful...

I kept seeing "Moose Crossing" signs, but never saw a Moose. Most people I spoke to, said we were VERY lucky not to have crossed paths with one. Seasonally, they "act up" a bit.....Everyone was wondering when we were going to get there......I got a little bored with being the passenger and kept a list of P's driving........
he did not think I was funny......

Rosie didn't think he drove bad at all.....

We got to the hotel around 1:30pm. We were nestled in the mountains at the base of Stowe. Chloe and P checked out the bed......

The view from our back door to the creek......

Later...Pizza Party and Hot Tubbin'

Trying to figure out where the time goes.....

Wasn't it just Monday? Over here in Punchy land the days are blurring together. We survived the wedding, the anniversary, the recognition dinner, *pug*stock, and have been busy as can be getting ready to leave for Vermont at 5am tomarrow morning.....phew....

This week I did manage to sew 5 ties-sets, 3 Halloween dresses, and 3 Christmas dresses to add to my stock. I also finished up 50 YES FIFTY, belly bands to take to the folks up there! I'm happy to not be facing my sewing machine for 3 days! The bins are packed and our stuff is ready for our booth. The weather should be a nice 64 degrees......

I'm still waiting on others to send me wedding pics and *pug*stock* pics....until then here are a few...

Miss Chloe in her tie dye.... Miss Pina running the GreenMtn Booth......
A bunch of crazy Pugsters.....

A nice surprise....

This has been a busy week over here at Pugpossessed. The wedding, our anniversary, tonight a recognition dinner for P's work place...very, nice.

When we came home tonight and I "finally" got the opportunity to check blogs I found out we were one of the winner's over at Pat's blog for a pet tag of our choice! So crazy as earlier today I spoke to someone about ordering custom made harnessess for the group. New harnessess means new tags, right????? Thanks Pat! I can't wait to pick out our winning tag and purchase another three, it's all about equality here!

Tomarrow we are off to take the boat out of the water. That sure marks the end of Summer for us! It is a week early, but we have our trip to Green Mtn planned for next weekend, so tomarrow is when it needs to be.

Then Sunday is *PuGsToCK*....all about Peace, Love and Pugs.....raising money for rescue! If your in the are of upstate new york stop on by. Visit wnypugs.org for more details.

30 years and counting....

30 years ago today P and I got married. We were young, younger than our own two children are. We were happy then and are happy today. These past 30 years have flashed by in a wink.....sigh.....So what do you do for your 30th anniversary when your son is getting married just a few days before and all concentration has been on that? Well, your husband gives you sweet smelling roses......
and you give him a bag.....
a bag full of THIRTY crazy items he likes......
then the two of you go to dinner at the place where you spent your first date!

Rehearsal

Rehearsal was tonight. Strangly no one from the party house assisted us? Not sure what that is about. We were sort of guessing as to location of chairs, etc. The grounds are nice, and it is supposed to be a nice day....low 70's AMEN.

Ushers practicing standing.....notice my sister in background. She was being the Justice of the Peace.
The bridesmaids. Look at that pretty one right in the middle!
The bride and her dad. He had just finished "dancing down the stairs" in this photo. I hope he does that on Saturday! Then on to the dinner we hosted. R and H had a good time and are pretty excited about it all.
Hopefully others got more pics than I did. I'm glad there is a photographer at the wedding or I'd end up with no pics!

Another sewing assistant?

We sewed at meetup again this past weekend, finishing up belly bands for rescue. Chloe got to go along this month. I haven't been taking all four alone when we're having sewing months. She spent most of the time under the table keeping an eye on me!
